Gemerské ovečky

A modern agricultural cooperative based in Hubovo, in the Gemer region of Slovakia, dedicated to producing premium sheep’s milk products from 100% Lacaune sheep raised on its own farm. The flock grazes on the flower-rich pastures of Gemer, where natural conditions contribute to the exceptional quality of the milk. In its own dairy, opened in 2019, the cooperative produces traditional Slovak specialties including bryndza, fresh sheep’s cheese, parenica, cheese strings, oštiepok, žinčica, and sheep’s milk yogurts. Combining modern technology with traditional handcrafted methods, the dairy has earned the prestigious Golden Sheep Award and also offers a certified organic (BIO) product range.
